         The GALAD trademark unites a wide range of lighting equipment produced by large Russian factories: Likhoslavl lighting engineering products plant Svetotekhnika (LZSI) and Kadoshkinsky Electrical Engineering Plant (KETZ).

         These factories, being the main producers of lighting equipment in the country, producing high-quality and reliable lamps, from the very beginning of their history within the Holding established guidelines for the development and improvement of the GOST system, which laid the foundation for new standards of modern lighting industry.

         Creating a new brand GALAD and promotion of products under a single brand has become a new stage in the development of lighting factories, held under the auspices of large-scale technical re-equipment, development of European-level service, innovative work at all levels. Modernization at LZSI and KETZ was not just a technical re-equipment - in fact, a new production philosophy was formed.

         In the name of the new brand, we reflected the scale of the company's activities. GALAD is a derivative of “global light”, which means “global light” in English. And this is completely justified, because we manufacture products for the whole country, from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, from cold northern Surgut to warm southern Sochi. GALAD emphasizes reliability, symbolizes the scale of the company.

         Today, GALAD brand plants are equipped with modern production equipment and a new quality control system, which allows the company to manufacture products that compete with European brands. Implemented measures to introduce modern management technologies, passed certification for compliance with the western quality management system ISO 9001: 2000.

         Technical requirements, formulated in accordance with State standards and successfully applied throughout the entire period of work of enterprises, today are based on European standards, focused on the consumer.
