Purpose
The explosion-proof Wi-Fi-IIB access point is designed to deploy a wireless network in explosion-hazard areas of chemical, oil refining, gas and other industries in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere.

Special features

• The access point supports multiple wireless communication standards. At the request of the customer, different Wi-Fi routers can be installed in the shell.
• A wireless router with a flameproof enclosure can be used in different hazardous areas.
• The access point is designed to work at elevations up to sea level up to 4500 m.
• If the symbol “X” is indicated in the explosion protection marking, the cabinet must not be used in hazardous areas where the formation of explosive mixtures based on acetylene is possible.

Design
Inside the explosion-proof shell is fixed Wi-Fi router with power supply. The antenna of a special design is brought out of the shell through the cable entry. The power cable and information cable are routed into the shell through the cable glands.

Access points can be completed upon request of the customer:

- various types and sizes of shells;

- cable entries (steel, brass, stainless steel, a wide range of input cables);

- drainage device;

- various types of terminals (screw, spring).
